Well, I'm going to be needing tires fairly soon...I didn't realize how bald they infact are. The rears are pretty much completely smooth on the center tread...probably going to suck in the rain!!!

Just wondering if anyone has a preferred place either in the states or around the lower mainland that has good deals on tires.

I haven't decided what I want yet...either Max Performance Summer's, or Ultra-Performance all-seasons. I'd rather have a winter beater for crappy conditions so I can keep the skyline in good shape, but I don't forsee that happening this winter. So I may also get another set cheapy rims for the R32 and get some winters for them...depends how finances are this summer.

Thanks for any input!!

so far I know of 1010tires (localish dealer), and then the tirerack if I go the US route. Any other suggestions would be welcomed!!

There are several online stores that sell tires. But my sister and her husband were very pleased with: www clicktire com as they cater to specific needs and budgets at their online store. They also offer the provision of writing to them so that they can find the size of the tire according to customers’ specifications.

Thanks Marcel, that place has some good prices, and all the brands that I'm looking for!

- I'm currently looking for tires again, but this time I will be buying Ulta/Max High Performance tires for my Skyline. Right now I think I've narrowed it down to Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec's, or Falken RT-615's, or Dunlop - SP Sport Maxx, or BFGoodrich - g-Force T/A KDW 2, Hankook - Ventus RS-2, or Yokohama - S.drive , and finally Nitto - NT 450. I guess I haven't narrowed it down...lol

(pics in order from above listed tires)

I'm mostly leaning towards the first 2 on that list. I want to be able to run 1.5 bar and have at least SOME grip. Currently my bald Firestones that have come with the car have no grip even at 1 bar. I'm spinning well into fourth, and still chirp in fifth. I'm going to be buying some within a few weeks.
