So theres an Importer based here in BC, called Kei King..

the guy is another one of those (Im the best, I know everything about Imports) Blah Blah Blah..

Here are two threads where he really shows his lack of tact, or care for people that might help his repuation.

Yup, interesting read! I've got to spend some time on the delica forum when I have time as you suggested.. for entertainment value!

I'd actually been poking around on his site when I was going sambar-crazy, and sent an email - he had a couple beaters for cheap I think.. I never heard from him, and the site kinda gave me the no-go feeling..

That was an interesting read and it's kind of unbelievable that someone would join any forum with the intention of getting business and would treat the community that way. My guess is that maybe this company is not for real and is simply testing the waters to see what kind of market there is to sell these vehicles, which is the only rational explanation for ignoring customer inquiries.

These kind of companies are easy to spot (although we don't know of any bad purchases from KeiKing) but there's a lot of professional looking companies who do shady things and don't make a raucous on the different forums and respond politely and professionally to e-mails etc..

That's just my 2 cents.

Jesus H. Christ is this guy stupid or what? HE gets to select his customers, HE thinks he has the right to berate potential customers, HE thinks his opinion is the God-given world itself?

Dude needs to learn the first rule of customer service: "The customer is king". By running his mouth like it's a PRIVILEGE to meet him, he's losing business while at the same time thinking he's got sales by bashing people who obviously know more about the market than he does. If he wants to back up his smack talk, I'd like to see his last month's sales figures.

I'd rather take my chances with Tyee Imports, at least they respond to customer inquiries.

These threads are kind of interesting and at least they spark debate and hopefully they help save people the trouble.

I just hope we don't need to worry about flaming.
