Does anyone know a good place in Vancouver (preferably Surrey) to get touch up paint?

Don't even tell them it's JDM, they only need the color code. There might be rare ones they won't have.. not sure. I've always gotten spray bombs from Napa/Colormaxx. I've heard Sherwin/Williams is good too (or maybe that is Sherman/Williams?)
I've always paid about 30.00 per spray bomb

^Doubt that's true. Dealerships here (some of them) will do it but I would not let a dealership touch my car ever.

Yeah, I had Toyota do a bit of work on my Aristo when I couldn't get a misfire figured out. They were happy to take my money.

I went to Rally Subaru in Edmonton and showed them my paint code and they said it turns out they have some 230 white paint in Ontario. They never actually called me when it was in and I didn't care to follow up. It was like $13 for a little tiny scratch removal bottle.
It's hit and miss with Subaru I think. This one old parts guy is kind of a hard ass but if you have a VIN from a similar model and bring the part numbers then he starts working with you and turns out to be a nice guy. This other dude doesn't mind just looking up things via part number. Just my experience though. |
