Figured as much... Well on to bigger and better things!
So far so good. I've been enjoying it so far. It's stage two plus right now. I have to install my HKS headers and grimm speed up pipe. Then it's injectors and a pro tune.
Here's a picture of when it was first delivered to my home.

I guess I can bump this thread.
I've picked up a 1997 Chaser recently (landed two months ago) and I've been enjoying it a lot! Honestly I'm looking forward to modifying it more then when I had my...
I really need to do this... Thanks for taking the time to post this thread up!
I wish the agents were that cool in my area... The most I've got was that one guy was speaking to me about how he used to own a STI (I was in a rental heading down to Final Bout with friends). My...
Just chiming in to say that no EJ engine is "bomb proof" no matter what anyone tells you. The running joke is to always have money for a rebuild. And this is coming from someone who owns and daily's...
Ontario is rough when it comes to RHD car insurance. I'm not going to blow up my company, but It's rather cheap for me to insure my Chaser. That being said, I've got over 10 years driving experience,...
Where are you located?
I know there's quite a few running around in BC and in AB.
I'm in Ontario, but I did not require DOT headlights in order to pass safety.
Well to start, you can't purchase any cars from the auctions yourself. So there's already a hitch in your plans. I'd honestly just tell you to enjoy your time in Japan, and use a exporter.
Perfect timing as I'm doing safety this week for my Chaser...
I'm pretty sure they are Advan T6's... I'd have to see them a bit closer to confirm.
3.5 Grade, pretty much stock, and checks off all of the points that I was after.
Cheers, and thanks!
A little bit of an update...

Looks like I finally snagged something nice!
I hope so as well. So far I haven't had the best luck at the auctions so far. Nothing has caught my eyes, and the prices are all over the place. Mark II's seem to be the most expensive, then Chaser's...
I just went to Home Depot and purchased two small steel brackets, and fab it up so that the plate was centered and used both holes. It costed me less then $5 and was 15 minutes of actual work...
HAHA that's cool, no worries. It's a a Toyota 4 door 1JZ powered car. There's actually three model types. The Chaser, Mark II, and Cressida. I'm looking to purchase either the Chaser or Mark II.

It's also a numbers game. There's a lot less BNR34's produced then any other Skyline model years. Also from what I've been following at the auctions, the prices are rising each year. If I were to...
At the major entries, I have friends who are catching flack for driving their cars down to the US. A lot of the time they are asking if your planning to sell it, and pretty much tell you how much...
It's has a lot to do with the price. I was back and forth for a while about importing one, but with the average being $45-50K for a 15 year old car, it makes the cost of ownership hard to swallow....
Hello everyone!
Last year I had imported a S15 Silvia, and I loved having it. I was about to go crazy with the mods, then I took a step back and decided that it wasn't the car I was going to sink...
Alight, so a bit of an update since I last posted...
So I've had my ups and downs, but overall I wouldn't trade this car for anything else...
So after a few weeks of putting about when I had...
Done and done! Hopefully this happens so that I can buy a BNR34 here in Onterrible...
Ugh I wish I didn't click on this thread...
This would be mine... But I just bought a larger house :(
Holy crap! How many cars are you going to buy?!?!
I love that you're looking for a BNR34. I'd love to own one myself, but living in Ontario is terrible at the moment for RHD insurance.
