Lightbulb Replacement L7 badges for those interested

Hey folks, so I have a pretty decent repertoire of manufacturing capabilities in my shop; welding/fabrication, industrial ceramic coatings, and recently, mold-making and casting (specifically plastics).

Since my car is 25 years old, it goes without saying that the paint and trim isn't what it used to be. That said, I'm going to make a mold of the red L7 badge insert so I can make a replacement that I hope will be a faithful recreation. Considering the cost of buying a used badge from Japan is anywhere from $75 for a blue or green background, and upwards of $150 for the GT-B red badge, I'm curious how many folks would be interested in a quality made replica. Just reply if you're interested and I'll make sure I don't just do a few for myself.

Custom color and backing options will be available as well; for example, I'm going to try to do a vac-formed carbon twill inlay on mine, and I"ll post pictures when it's finished.

    Did this ever happen?

It did! But was a bit tricky. I've had to move since I made the last handful, and I sent one to Florida last year as a gift for someone when I tested and serviced their BBoD.

I might have some photo's somewhere. I'll likely be making more later this year once it warms up though.
