Haven't read through the entire 8 pages.
But from my MR2 JDM swap knowledge...
93 will be sufficient for a stock ECU that calls for JDM 100.
Wikipedia has a really good octane "translator"
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octane_rating
If you are worried about detonation levels or want to "BOOST" octane (newbs...DO NOT confuse this with turbo usage, or higher detonation levels increasing horsepower!!!)
To reduce the possibility of knock you can create your own race gas.
It is a composition of pump with "common" paint thinners. (they are common to painters.) Some versions are purchasable through home depot, others are special order through paint stores.
I have chosen Toluene.
The price of it is large and you can...BUT DO NOT run on this alone.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toluene
Anyway....pump 93 is fine. Don't be scared.
Octane is knock resistance....not more power.
(the possibility of detonation without spark)
