Default Stock Boost on Aristo JZS147 3.0V 2JZ-GTE Engine

Does anyone know the stock boost on the 2JZ-GTE in JZS147 Aristo 3.0V?
I'm also curious if anyone knows if the boost differs in the series 2 (with VVTi) and if the Supra version had a different ECU and different boost target?

The following will answer some of your Aristo questions..

Thanks Mark, the C&P from there is:
I wonder if it is for the non-VVTi or if it applies to both.

Aristo Stock Boost Pattern You get 0.7bar of boost on turbo 1, a slight dip in power between 3500 and 4000rpm, and then 0.8bar of boost with both turbos online. This should be a smooth and linear power delivery when pre-BPU. With BPU you will get a very distinctive surge when turbo 2 comes online at 4k. You'll feel the same power dip at 3500rpm but then a noticeable surge in power at 4000rpm when the second turbo comes online and hits over 1 bar of boost. Full boost is acheived before 4500rpm.

Reading that page it seems to mainly talk about "Mark 1" Aristo's so I guess it applys to non VVTi models.

I suspect this boost of .07 bar for turbo 1 and 0.8 bar for turbo 2 is probably correct for both models. I think the only difference in engine configuration besides some cosmetics in series 2 2JZ-GTE was the VVTi which increased torque.

How much do you guys think going to .9 or 1 bar of boost would improve things? How much boost can be added safely to the stock setup before the fuel pump and injectors become an issue?

    According to this writeup: http://www.mrparts.com.au/MPRacing/?p=363
turbo 1 only makes 8 psi

Can anyone confirm the true boost (someone with a gauge)?

I max out at 0.7 bar on turbo 1 and 0.87 bar on turbo 2.

I have a FMIC, so I'm not sure if that changes anything....aside from bit more lag which I can verify.

    depends...

full stock form, with stock exhaust, it'll make around 8psi.

exhaust and mid-pipe brings it up to around 12psi with no boost controller.

Thanks RCTS and Ryan, the stock form is what I was looking for and do you think there is any harm or danger in hitting 12psi on the first turbo? Now my next question is where/how can I find an exhaust that fits Aristo? I can only find MK2 GS300 exhausts.
