+1 to that. That car looks amazing. I kept seeing a clean 3 series, waiting for the M money shot, and sure enough. Must be a popular and logical swap. I think e30s for sure fit in the category of timeless cars...

The S38B36 (1991 M5 Engine) in an E30 is pretty rare, as it is not an easy swap.

Here's a nice writeup of it with full details, specs, and more pictures of the car; http://northerndriver.blogspot.com/2...ubl-stufd.html

Ohhh and I filmed this a few months ago for him... If you have good speakers turn them up for a treat

I can't tell you how much I love this car, or how quick it is. But I can tell you that the Ferrari California we came across was quite shocked to say the least....

That's a monster E3430, haha. I glanced at first and immediately thought "S52" (jump to conclusions mat), but then double backed and was like... no, it's not! Thanks for the details, was wondering which driveline it's running, that answered all my questions. Awesome stuff.

OMG, I've seen 3 series bmws with the M3 badge next to it lol

Nice examples of Bimmers greg, I'm sure that once you run into engine problems you'll come running back to Toyotas
