    +1 I agree with the OP about that but I find older JDMs and especially Subaru's to be perfect. I even feel the quality and reliability is higher than most newer Subaru's. One of the few cars I think was built quite well for the USDM market is the GDBII STi despite lack of twin scroll and AVCS.

    Actually if you look at our control arms, they look exactly like the GDB STi aluminum ones (ours are also aluminum).

    I'm still blown away at the performance and quality that went into these classic GC8's.

    I apparently have a knack for finding the rare Subaru colours. The only rarer bugeye wrx colour is yellow IIRC.

    If anyone near Toronto is interested in more autocross, I'm part of a team that organizes a 2 day autocross school every year in Brampton. You get a ton of in car time, and some really experienced instruction, all for ~$100 for the 2 days.

    Usually happens April-Mayish each year.
