I think the girl just ruined the reputation of that car lol

Where do you get all these nice pics if you don't mind me asking? Is there a JDM picture archive or something

Any updated info? Top glass non-compliant as in moon roof?

I am going to try to bring in a Soarer as a parts car, and leave as much iterms on it as possible. Even though its a parts car, I have read on the gov website anything still attatched must meet standards.
    -Glass
    -lights
    -reflectors,
    -fluids (brake)
    -brake lines
    -wheels
    -tires
    -ect

I need to get confirmation so that I may pull off all the right articles and have it ready. Would hate to have it at port and have to send it back out.

    Thanks guys!

I don't think you have to worry about any compliance issues if you are just stripping the car for parts. Compliance issues are looked at when you take the car through an inspection, but if you are not going to register the car you don't have to take it through an inspection.

if your bringing the car in for parts.. it doesnt matter.. as long as its 15 years old.. or cut in half (If newer) your good to go.

If you don't plan on registering it for road use, you don't have to worry about anything.

Bring in the car and do whatever you want with it.

Everything that comes on a Soarer is DOT already.

Its considered "Parts" or Assembly of carriage if no motor/trans. I wish to import for a project chassis. "Parts" is just the classification of import. Not to part out for use in other usdm cars.
