So im contemplating building a Benz..

Thinking about buying a W202 C43 AMG with high ks or a bad engine and swapping in a 5.5 V8 in it, to replicate a C55. Adding a few goodies and trying to push about 400 horses out of it. What do you guys think?
I could always just save the hassle and get an E55 AMG even though it will be a little heavier and probably cheaper..

I've never looked at parts for Mercedes, but I would assume your going to have one hell of an expensive build. I think the cost would out weigh the performance. I could be very wrong though.

I say if you have the money, go for it. I think it would be pretty sweet.

Thanks for the input guys. Actually the engine is basically a direct plug and play. All you have to do is put the engine wiring harness from the 4.3 on the 5.5. There are a few other small things but its a pretty straight forward deal.
