    Smile FS: 1996 Fiat Barchetta

Hi, my name is Steve, and I'm an exporter (Hi Steve).

I had a customer (who lost their deposit) walk away from this one. Her loss...

This is a 1996 Fiat Barchetta. Yes, a RED Barchetta! It drives very well. No issues that I could detect. Smooth handling, no issues with the gearbox. You can see from the auction sheet that its clean. We have on order the gasket that goes around the rear plastic window so that it will be basically as clean as it can get. The gasket (rubber, not gold) is 26,000yen.

For those who will want to find out where it came from (auction) and what we bought it for, I'll save you the time. We bought it at HAA Kobe a couple of Saturdays ago for 170,000yen.

You can see the interior is deserving the B grade. So does the truck.

You can see the gasket around the plastic window coming off. This will be replaced.

    Under the hood is compact!

I think you guys (and gals) get the idea. Its a nice car.

I am not in a hurry to sell this, and am thinking of keeping it. I'm a Rush fan and have wanted a Red Barchetta for years. It is a very good and clean unit, and if there is no interest here, I will keep it. I know the first tune I'll play.

We are looking for 340,000yen FOB Kawasaki, or 420,000yen landed in BC. That's about 4,610.00CND and 5,694.00CND at 73.75yen/1CND.

Someone had asked me about the glass. From what I could see, all the glass is rated E2. Here is a photo of the headlights.

More photos of the glass. The first shot is the windscreen and the second is side glass (door window).

I've had more than one offer come in on this unit, but under my firm price. I told the others that I'm not in a rush to sell. No lower offers will be accepted. If I don't sell this by the end of the week, I'm keeping her!

Steve, is this one turbo? I have thought about one of these for a little while, I was considering a coupe, but this is a decent car.

The Coupe and Barchetta are different beasts altogether. The Barchetta is based off the Punto, and only ever came with the 1.8L NA engine. There's also 3 engine pics above which kind of make it obvious.

The Coupe is a larger car.

I'd part with my Alfa so I could buy this. heh

I really really really really want this. I can't believe people are walking from it.
