    External beforward vendor account registration
Hello, can anyone please advise or direct me on how I can get an external beforward vendor account bearing my details or if there's a better vendor account company please advise. I have worked before for someone but I now want my own vendor account. Thanks in advance.

I've been seeing a lot of Toyota Crown's and Alphard's lately.

How the h*ll do Alphards headlights pass inspection? Don't think a LHD country equiv. model was ever sold anywhere.

It depends which country and area. In my area here in BC, Canada it is perfectly legal so long as there are E-Codes on the bulb housing which almost all Toyota's have and many other models. The only issue is that some shops don't know this so you have to tell them to check the book and verify that E-Code lights are allowed and sometimes you also have to find the actual E code on the lamp assembly as many have trouble finding it.

Thanks for the reply. Yes, am also in BC and have prepped 4 JDMs for inspection here and have closely read the light requirements. I don't recall the specifics but in all cases I had to source new right-side drive coded headlights because either the originals didn't have an ECE code (aka "E-Code") or had one but the number with it didn't (of course) denote it is for a right-side driving country. Next time I see an Alphard or another JDM model that was never sold in a right-side drive country I'll look closely at the headlight to see what it is coded on it.

Yes, it's quite interesting and I like the shops that if they have an issue actually check the book and show you their thought processes. Beware of some shops that will "invent" regulations that require you to get work done through them or they try enforce rules that don't apply to 15 year old cars like neutral safety switch etc...
