JDMVIP rookie with some SM-X questions/concerns.

from my research, I have found that the front door glass on each side is marked with only 'AS2', no DOT markings. As well with the rear hatch glass, it is marked 'AS3', but does not have the DOT marking.

Also, with the headlights, only stamped 'HONDA STANLEY 000 00000' with the zero's being a part number I suppose. Also, the headlight is stamped 'WCR 32' with a little symbol beside the 'W' which I can't make out.. but it doesn't appear to be a 'circled E'. Unfortunate.

Wonderful little vehicles with tonnes of aftermarket support, and all the stuff is so cheap!

Once I can post pics, I will share my findings to help other potential SMX buyers.

i would imagine, with the front 2 side windows, and the rear window all sporting AS# markings... that it would be a fair guesstimate that all windows would share the same fate?

looks like it will have to wait until september. that's when the '97s are available.

the selection and availability of the '96 model isn't the best.

hmm, most likely the FWD version. Even though it is basically a Cr-v, wouldn't want to have to fix the awd system if something went wrong.

If i'm correct, heisei 9 (1997) month 6 ?

(1997-2000+12= heisei 9)
