Does anyone on here have a Beat, or knows someone with one?
I've always wanted one (yes, I am a male ) and the amount I'm spending on gas each week is starting to get me thinking about them seriously.
Thoughts on these vehicles?

Make sure it's not burning any oil. It's a very high strung engine and needs to be taken care of. It's not your typical civic or accord that can run for years without an oil change.
The only issue I have is space to carry things. The trunk and frunk are just enough space for a laptop bag. That's about it.
It is also LOUD. The engine is right behind you, and when you are cruising at 100kph, it's revving to 5000.
Also, tires are a bit hard to find, but most parts can be had from civics and the like.
1991 Honda Beat
lol funny post but the Beat really is kind of a classic and interesting Kei and I love reading about them. One thing the sporty Kei's have in common is absolute fun, go-kart like handling and high-revving engines.
Does anyone have any idea what they go for at auction?
A couple of years ago there was a Beat floating around Halifax (so I was told)...but I never ended up seeing it. I really wanted to check it out in person.
Anyone ever autocross one? I wonder if you could fit a set of Lensos mounted with R888 tires on it.
I have so many questions that I need answered

My buddy has one.

Would love one of these!
Guy I knew back in Ireland had 2 of them! Kei cars are still sought after in Japan so tend to still be expensive at the auctions
