    Default Windshield wiper

Hey guys, does anyone know how the front windshield wiper works? I think it's just a 1 motor setup with a linkage assembly to the wiper arms themselves. Does anyone know where I might procure one of these. My drivers side wiper arm crapped out and won't move

Tried to look up a image for you but this is the only example I could find. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/WIPER-TRANSMI...ht_1569wt_1397 ( not a exact picture and reversed however on RHD)

the wiper setup is one motor and then links going between, you most likely just popped and broke a old bushing, its a pain in the ass to work in there, just take off the rain tray and look down and in and try to figure it out.

I used this thread for help at replacement bushings, http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...php?p=15511229
once again going to subaru dealership was completely useless, they wouldnt sell the bushing or order one, they wanted 180 for new linkage..... bushing pack was $5 at canadian tire, I used the same one circled in this thread.

And the dealership fails yet again (remind what they are good for again?). Did you have to do any trimming to get it to fit?

Good thread and good info guys, thanks stuff.
Yes JFImport, it is fairly standard that dealerships can't really help you or answer your questions. I've learned the only way is to figure it out yourself and do what you can rather than risk it and pay a high price without any guarantees of the quality/service etc...

I took everything apart today and discovered that the bushing wasn't broken, just popped out. YAY!

thank-you guys though for the good information, I will be sure to use it should this all happen again.
