    Has anyone gone for a wheel alignment?

    I need to get an alignment and thought the specs were the same as a lexus gs300/400 but I was told it might not be the same.

    The ARS or 4WS was giving them a little trouble too.
    anyone know exactly how the system works?
    I thought it only moved when the car was slipping or driving at high speeds or something.
    They said the rear wheels didn't turn right away but a bit later they did? I'm not 100% clear on what they said about it.

    Car is a little bit lowered too.

    I'm not really sure, but I have a feeling it might only work when you are turning sharper. I'll see if I can find anything on clubaristo.

    So these are specs for a 97 Toyota Aristo V300 Vertex.
    does anyone know how to convert it to degrees?
    do you just split these numbers in half to get the specs for each left and right side?
    what does the first number and second number mean?
    FRONT
    * TOE     +00°03’
    * CAMBER –00°20’
    * CASTER  +07°40’

    REAR
    * TOE -00°03’
    * CAMBER -00°55’

    My aligner at work has the option to change it's location. Meaning, I can tell it I'm in Japan and voila! All the JDM cars up to 2010 are available to me! Soooo, I can get the alignment specs, print them out and upload it on here, if you'd like. Any shop should be able to read that and perform the alignment.

    Is your Aristo model exactly as you said? 97 Toyota Aristo V300 Vertex?

    Can't guarantee anything but I'll look into it tomorrow.

    ^Those may work. They are different than what my machine says though. But mine are actual JDM specs...

    Did you get this sorted out? Did the JZS160 in North America have the same suspension and 4WS? If the shop is having so much trouble I'd take one where they're more familiar with working on Import/lowered cars.

    Yes I got it sorted out.
    I actually went to a Honda dealership of all places for a custom alignment.
    Got them to use the 98 Lexus gs400 specs and then change them to the jzs161 specs and do the best they can with my lowered car. My first good experience at a dealership.

    Here are the Lexus gs400 specs for comparison. It's actually very similar.
    Since the 161 has different suspension im guessing the 160 has specs that are even closer to the gs400 or maybe even the same.
