Anybody know of some common problems on the blacktop sr20 or the t28 turbo?

Which Blacktop are you looking at? There are a few different variances.

There is always the argument of Rocker Arm stoppers, and as far as remember the headgasket aren't super strong but still capable as long as you aren't aiming for big power.

It's a 98 silvia blacktop

I recall the VTC is known for being abit noisy in the cold on the s14 blacktop.

So it does obviously make more horsepower stock then other SR's but they are a bit harder to build. I think parts are bit harder to find and it is a bit harder to tune if you decide to build it up a bit.
