    Default JDMs in the Philippines

In the Philippines there are a huge number of directly imported JDM vehicles, all with steering conversions.

I wonder if we can attract anyone from the Philippines onto our forum. Lots of Honda Civics, Fits, and Toyota BBs, MR2s there.

I hope you can start us off with some pics, if you could organize meets too I'm sure it would generate more business for you.

I'm guessing the Philippines is LHD and requires conversions? I hope you can post more about the kits and cars that have them, it would be interesting to bug the rulers of Canada to allow newer cars in (of course they may say the conversion is unsafe/flawed etc.. but adding pressure never hurts lol).

The cars from Japan have been converted. I know they are converting Skylines to LHD.
I have photos from last year, so I will dig them up.
I don't know what the attitude in Canada regarding conversions. All trucks imported into the Philippines are converted and are generally done very well. Trucks are driven longer distances and more frequently than cars are, so the conversions must be top-notch. When done properly, car conversions can be done to top-quality specs.

Had an interesting day of bidding on trucks. As the sole shipper to Poro Point Philippines, we are now chartering a ship. And, we are in the process of a monthly shipment of about 40-80 trucks. The Philippines is in the top 10 countries for Japanese truck imports.
All trucks are converted from right hand to left hand. The job of conversion is a big business as well. Our partner in the Philippines handles the truck conversions, and will not compromise on quality. That is good for the end user. I wouldn't want to think about the illegal mini truck conversions being what most Western people think about Philippine quality.
My other business in the Philippines is with autohaulers. Our autohaulers are from Japan, picked by me, and re-conditions in the Philippines. I wish I could find a business of exporting them from the Philippines. Our autohaulers are in excellent shape. Because of this, and our competitive prices, we are doing work for Suzuki Philippines!

Sorry to disappoint you, but importing used cars into the Philippines is no longer legal. Only commercial vehicles.

I would be happy to assist with commercial vehicles. Do some research on Poro Point Free Zone, and you can contact me by PM.
