I've been waiting on this car for a couple months, and will be waiting on it for a couple more still but I'm getting anxious so I thought I'd start this thread

I currently own (what I would like to consider) one of the cleanest most unmolested Canadian Celica All Tracs in Canada. I've taken excellent care of it and it's treated me well in return. Plus, I've got studded tires on it and the thing is a beast in the winter time.

However, I think the Evo is a better platform to build upon and it's been a dream car for a couple years now. I picked this one up through Will and it seems like I got a good car for a good price. One big concern I had was rust but the underside of it looks extremely clean from the one photo. Unfortunately it's a March 1999 build so I have to wait a couple months still

I plan on keeping this car for a long time and building it. In my opinion, and the majority of other Evo owners opinions, the Evo VI was the pinnacle of raw rally power and I think the fact that stock it can beat an Evo IX around the track says a lot. The 4g63 engine is simple to work on and responds very well to power. My idea for the build is to not just make a faster car, but make a better Evo doing things right, even if it costs more. Power gains will come eventually but maybe not right away.

Sweet Evo! Looks to be really mint.

Love the Celica as well, not many of those around. Very rare jem that's for sure.

I was going to wait until it was here but I figured I'd jump the gun a bit.

"...doing it right, even if it costs more."
That's going to get you in trouble.

2014 is the year my dream car (Evo VI) is available to order into Canada and I just can't afford it. So much sh*t standing between me and a "dream".

I will be in tears the day I actually see one in person here in Canada.

It shouldn't be long now, can your Exporter ship this one out at the end of February so it lands just at the beginning of March?
