Any of these should be fine but I think there is a specific slightly different part# for the EJ20K but I'm not 100% sure:

    Hmm that's a shame,
Idea on a price I should let these go for on the local selling page?

Unless they're basically new I'd imagine they're not worth much at all.
Just get some good NGK ones and you'll be good to go.

I hope you got NGK otherwise there may not be much point in getting new plugs.

No one else makes decent plugs?

They might but NGK is what is recommended for Subaru's and many other Japanese cars. I've seen lots of stories with people having issues when using wrong/off-brands.

Maybe the best way of saying it is that they come with NGK's from the factory.

I got NGK iridiums and my car is totally fixed
Except new issue, the plastic piece the shifter sits in, that is held in by nothing but a snap ring, has come out, the snap ring is gone...

I can get replacement but how do I get that damn thing to stay in???
I remember having an issue of installing that all when I put the short shifter in to begin with.

Great to hear, you definitely had the wrong plugs in there and they make a world of difference. One note about Iridiums is that in general I hear they foul more easily and quicker so if you have issues down the road I really recommend the standard Laser Platinums as they last long and work well.

Do you mean the one that surrounds the shifter housing (not the actual shifter but the boot area ) that's non-essential or something else? A pic would help if you can get one.

If all fails I'm sure you could find what you need on Yahoo Japan from a parts car.
