IIRC 2L F series motor, essentially a smaller bore H22, with an iron block. Made 200hp. Some came with LSD tranny from prelude. These motors were good for boost because you are able to swap pistons and all the aftermarket head components from h22 swap directly over.
All in all good cars,
They are a good car but not as quick as the Euro R variant which would be the one I would go for
Not sure about the SiRt but i have a 99 SiR wagon leaving Japan this week.
H23a, same specs as the Prelude/H22 we had here but with a longer stroke, so power and tq come on a bit sooner.
Should be something a little different to drive around with the kids.
Pretty solid cars. I own a 97 SiR myself, if I had an opportunity to grab an SiR-T - I would jump all over it.
Euro-R seems more favorable in that chassis though.
Very interesting build since Jan 99 as a CF4 with F20B (a popular engine with Honda guys AFAIK) making 200HP is quite interesting if you ask me.
I'd like to see someone get one of these for sure.
I own a 99 cf4 sir-t. Very fun car.
