Recommend a dash cam

I had an eBay one that worked OK but need a better eBay one.
I'd like one that is small and records when the car starts.

A bonus would be if it could record while the car is parked based on motion.

This one seems promising. It will record on motion-cue when the car is off so long as it is hard wired to your battery. There's an example video of the daylight quality on the site. Could probably find a night time example but I haven't looked.

In fact I was so sold from the article, I just bought one myself. Haha.

There's also a video on youtube of the night quailty while driving, not bad at all.

I'd like to hear what you guys are using and see some example videos? The one thing I wish about my A119 is that it would do better in variable shaded light (eg. where you have sun and shade at the same time or better in low light).
