What is the fuel quality like in China?

Do they rate their octane by RON or R + M /2?
Is it possible to find 100RON or North American 94 Octane throughout the country?

Well more than a year later I can finally answer this. I was there again in 2009 and was too lazy. It took the second visit this year and all gas stations I saw in the South (Shenzhen, Guangzhou) had 93, 97, 98 octane RON, so I don't think fuel quality is an issue for JDMs over there. I would imagine the fuel is probably the same throughout most of the country but it would be good for others to post what they see just so we know.

I don't recall the price, maybe I'll check the prices next time lol.
