Which skyline is which?

I'm looking to import a car this summer and I think I want to make that car a skyline. The only issue is that I don't know a damned thing about them and all of the different models is not helping my understanding. I'll be going through william at JDMconnection as my last import experience went flawlessly.

I've looked at my budget and I've eliminated the GTR. As much as I'd love to drive one, it's a bit out of my price range.
I've decided to go with a turbo RWD (R34 body style). The only problem is that I don't know which one to get. There's the GT, the GT-T the GT-S and the type M's.

Which one is which and what is the difference.
Basically, what one do i want.

Yes, I have no plans of getting rid of the STI any time soon. But I won't have it forever. What better way to explore new car options than to buy and sell a car or two over the summer. I was also looking at the integra type R as those are fairly cheap and much less confusing with what model to choose.
