Well might as well talk about it a little before it gets sold. As I just picked up a Evo V.

I had bought this car about 6 years ago off someone in Calgary. But I live in Winnipeg. At the time I had a Ruckus that I heavily modified(engine swap and stretch).

I had seen the ad on Kijiji and started email like crazy. After a few days I had an intense interest. So luckily I have a few friends in Calgary that were willing to check it out for me.

There were a few problems, but the fact it was going for a good price and RHD I didn't care. Luckily there is a local forum in WPG and I had mentioned I was picking up a car in Calgary and mentioned the problems. I had received a PM from an old acquaintance who owned a 6 series and a modded Jetta. Told me he can help me with my problems.

So I sold the Ruckus..and managed enough to buy a ticket to Calgary AND buy the car!

    So I present..

There are pics from the day I got back from the drive from Calgary to WPG

Car had 17 ACS Style 2 reps, Mtech body kit, Mtech 1 steering wheel

Over time and safeting it, I was on to modding it.

Bought some style 65's(oem) and machined the lips

After bought other mods, but at the time this is where I am as of right now

anyway, what were the problems you had with this car? seems you had a pretty good deal and it looks great. good to know it has Bilstein shocks.
