    Engine Knock is related to air fuel mixture, the sensor will adjust timing accordingly to reduce engine knock, best not to mess with ECU whatnots.

    It can either seriously damage your vehicle or do nothing at all. I wouldn't risk it though.

    I'm having a bitch of a time getting the bolt aligned..... any tips?

    Well I managed to get that stupid bolt aligned. I disconnected the battery 48hrs ago so I'm assuming the ecu reset itself. I checked the codes and just got a steady flash which I read on rs25 means no code in memory. I will do the proper green plug reset later tonight.
