2006 WRX Limited calipers (4 piston) & pads / rotors

Rear brakes
up to 2000 Forester S NA (single piston) & pads / rotors

Radiator
5spd - 99-00 Forester
auto - 2 options
1. 99-00 Forester stock rad (have to cut two notches out of trans cooler heat shield and re route the hoses). mods req

2. 05-06 Forester S Turbo (need spacers for top mounts as 05/06 rad is slightly taller

Recommendation is don't do the 99/00 rad swap. Took far too long and modding to make it work. The 05/06 turbo is easier drop in.

5spd's don't need the oil cooler so either rad works.

This goes for the STB's as well.

so far the 06 WRX ltd rotor/pad set are wearing evenly = good fitment

Would you know if the 06 wrx rotors/pads would be the same fitment for a non sti forester stb?

No.

For regular JDM Forester ST/B (non sti) the brakes are equivalent to 2002 WRX Calipers(2 piston) /pads/rotors for the front

The STI Forester has 4piston upgraded calipers compared to the non-sti

any idea if ej205 local wrx valve cover gaskets work on the sti forester st205 engine ?

They look exactly the same ?

I have never changed the valve cover gaskets on my forester but for that price it may be worth trying it.. I ended up spending lots of time and a lot of extra money sourcing out the gaskets from Subaru for my 95 WRX. If you can get away with that kit you will be laughing.
