Nice to hear STi is otherwise doing well! Nice looking set of new rubber too! Clutch kits for your car are not too expensive. I can't remember did you install a new clutch during the engine rebuild? If not maybe it's time to do it anyway?

If it's not new then maybe it's a great time to replace or upgrade the clutch. Usually the stock flywheel will be fine if machined and you can just get the whole kit with pressure plate, throwout bearing and clutch. They cost a lot less to get from the USA from what I can remember.

In my WRX RA when I first got it I used to get a shuddering in reverse when the clutch was engaged and all was well once I replaced the clutch.

No I never changed out the clutch because it looked new. The shuttering has stopped, I think it had something to do with the cold weather at the time.

Maybe it was new and it was just breaking in/mating with the flywheel glad to hear everything with your EJ207 build is working perfectly now!

Hahaha thanks! I try to keep it looking good. It is my daily driver so it does have some dings and scratches. Worse one that drives me nuts is on my hood. It came that way from Japan I asked around to see if I could get the dent pulled, but its aluminum and most shops won't touch it.

I will try and post more often, winter shoots will be coming soon enough.
