As some of you may know, I have been on the hunt for quite some time for a JDM GDB in WRB. I was lucky enough to win a 2001 with 106k at auction Christmas day. Thanks again to Steve aka Sastradkk.

The car is expected to land in Halifax early this spring. I am very excited to finally have this car.

On a sad note, this means my 1995 WRX will be going to a new owner very shortly. It will be for sale early April..

Of course while I wait I started to collect parts lol...

I made a trip up to Montreal last week and picked up a version 8 trunk swap, Prodrive grill trim, version 8 blue carpet, clear fender markers, version 8 tail lights and a set of 17" Wedssport SA90's with winter tires. The Perrin wing stiffies I bought new off Ebay.

Thanks guys!!! Yes it is a 6 speed manual. I am not even sure if these were offered in a automatic.

You must be very excited, it reminds me of when I bought GC8 WRX RA. I bought in January and received it in May (barely long story but if interested search for IBC Japan in the forums lol).

GDB only comes in MT with 280BHP but the GDA WRX with EJ205 has an auto option and both make 250BHP.

Import Underground has a killer deal on gauges right now. I just had to buy some lol...
AEM wideband and AEM tru-boost. They are based out of the UK, so I assume it will be a few weeks before I receive them.

Now I need to find a rhd pillar gauge pod

So I found a version 8 STI rear bumper with a lip. I am thinking about getting it because it has the lip and the oem cut out for the newer style tails.. its wrb so it would save me money in the long run on paint. Thoughts?
