Default The Evolution of my Pajero

You probably puzzled it out already but... I've got a Paj-Evo coming! William@JDMConnection did it again.

140k kms, 4C as graded by TAA in Hiroshima, but probably higher by USS standards. Certainly looks like it in the pics. Vancouver ETA of Feb17th, so Calgary roads by the end of Feb with any luck?

This, my seventh Pajero///Montero, is the one I've always wanted. Wife loves her third gen Montero, so we'll be keeping both, and I'll daily drive my Sportback. Paj-Evo is purely for fun and games.

This mitsu section is not exactly hopping, but someone has to keep it interesting? I'm going to be setting up a Mitsu 4x4 get together later in the spring in Calgary or nearby, if anyone is interested.
Current: 1997 Pajero Evolution no.581, 2013 Lancer Sportback, 2003 Montero

    Not forgotten: 93 Pajero, 91 Pajero, 96 Evo4, 91 Galant AWD, 89 Montero, 89 Raider, 88 Raider...

Nice Pajero Evolution, they are futuristic looking units for sure.

Well, I was more excited by the close to 300hp from a naturally aspirated MIVEC V6, front and rear torsen diffs, tubular aluminum racing suspension, aluminum hood, and Recaro seats. But I guess you could call it futuristic... for 1997? A lot of the GEN3 developments sprang from this platform, and carry right into 2015's Pajero, so in some ways it was very futuristic, if not prophetic.

In any event, looking forward to driving my ultimate JDM dream.

I was actually bid on a few of these Pajero's before I decided to go with a Forester.

Update: Ship was early into port. Got through customs in two days, and is now booked for overland transport, with pick-up booked for tomorrow. This is by far my smoothest, fastest import experience.

William@JDM connection deserves 95% of the credit for that. The other 5% was luck. Or maybe MitsuKarma? LOL.

That looks awesome. I ran across these after I had already imported my forester. Cool looking vehicles.
