Default 2000 UCF31 Celsior Sunroof Opens by itself after using

I only opened and closed the sunroof once but later that day when hitting any bump the sunroof opened on its own. Since then I haven't touched the sunroof for fear that it may open on a cold rain day .

I'm thinking it is the switch based on some Lexus forums postings I've read:

it happened once to me since Ive picked up the car. Ive used it a bunch of times since, but thankfully it has remained closed.

Yes the same here, just a little nerve racking if it were to get stuck. I think I will buy a new switch for summer time.

Just to update I've had the experience as SPUd the problem happened once and and never again. Maybe the switch gets sticky after not being used for so long.

Just an update but it suddenly happened without the switch being used or touched and it would keep opening and closing (once again in colder weather). Seeing as how there's lots of rain and snow these days I didn't want to take the chance and I removed the "Sunroof" fuse from the passenger kick panel as soon as we got it to close. I still believe it is the switch but I won't be attempting to troubleshoot this until spring time now.
