    Default wheel bearings.....

Hi I think my front driver side wheel bearing is kaput. I'm assuming I use an 06/07 bearing? Or do I use a 92-01 RS?

From what I gather it is the same for all the years.

I need a new rear wheel bearing for my 99 WRX Type RA. Going to get a shop to install in, probably best to get the part ahead of time? Also do you know how I can find the part number and a good source for them? Or would it just be a part I order from the dealer?

You can buy aftermarket or OEM I think the parts for these are fairly universal. For example my GC8 93 WRX RA uses one for the Legacy turbo. Note/savings tip I found after is that you can find a hub with the bearing pre-pressed so you could even change it at home or save time/labour from a shop doing it (it's a pain waiting for the dealer/garage sending off the hub to be r/r'd for pressing). Speaking of that I think my right rear bearing has gone bad again (replaced in 2009 or 2010) so will be needing the same part soon
