Just saw a Carry yesterday, looked pretty nice actually! I'm still enchanted by the minitrucks/vans, but I think I'm too big to fit

Well, if you're taller than 6foot, then I would suggest a Subaru or Daihatsu Jumbo. Suzukis are definately the most economical on interior space.

If your taller then 6"4 i would suggest you stay away from anything like these trucks at all..
driving them is a chore.. I have to take my shoes off. and drive in sock..
it was not fun.. i will never import one of these trucks again..
While at auction the other day I was with a friend who is a big guy and we were trying to find a kei vehicle that he would fit into... Nothing worked. I though something like an alto works would bo okay but it wasn't.
The bottom line is if you are over 6 feet tall you may need to reconsider any kei vehicle. You may be able to drive it but could you do it comfortably? If you have a chance go out and try driving one at a dealer lot to see if you fit.
However Austin Mini's have Room.. Oh i mean Rover mini..
I fit in those just fine.. and they are funny to drive..
LoL
I don't think the average person would be comfortable in a Kei car and they seem like they're meant more for maneuvering through tiny Japanese streets.
I can really see the usefulness of a Kei truck though, especially the "dump truck" style Kei's.
hah! That quote is more apt than you know perhaps?
WHO?
Hey there,
just got myself a Daihatsu Hijet Mini. Looking to find parts around Vancouver,B.C..Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The closest parts dealer is West Shore Auto in Victoria. He is a full-time mini truck dealer with a large parts inventory.
