    Hey there,
Just joined this forum. Also just picked up my first JDM car through William @ JDMConnection. A 1999 Legacy GTB BH5. 5 speed of course. I've only had it for a day and it's amazing. Being my first RHD, manual, boosted car, it's quite the upgrade from my 2003 Civic.
It's a lot of fun to drive, although I have noticed something off. When I put my foot down, in any gear, as the revs get up there the car jerks/stutters a little bit. I don't know what happens after though because I take my foot off when that happens lol. Any ideas as to what it could be?

Welcome Dan, BH5 is looking good I used to have one too! I actually have a BP5 I am picking up soon too. https://forums.jdmvip.com/threads/90...h-EJ20X-Engine!

I would check your coilpacks and plugs for the stuttering. Also give the plastic bits in the engine bay a misting water spray after the engine is up to temp (look for intake/boost leaks).

Thanks, I'll make sure to check for that. I'll probably change the spark plugs the same time I do the timing belt.
I also noticed that it jolts very slightly when idling (clutch out in neutral).

Just did my timing belt and spark plugs. NGK BKR6EIX gapped to 0.028. I’m going to assume that the spark plugs are what fixed the stuttering.

Nice glad to hear it is fixed did the old sparks look bad?. These Legacy's have a nice feel to them. Really loving my Spec B.

The old spark plugs seemed fine. I might upload some pics later.
I have to agree with that, the car is so much fun to drive now that I can go WOT.
