How to enable DRL daytime running lights in Legacy BP5 / BL5

Hey guys, I did the 1 wire mod to enable Park Lights DRL. I cut that single wire and ground that other end of wire ( connector side) and no problem with instrument lights dimming. I just taped and covered the other end of the wire so it wont be exposed.

Would you be able to specify which wire you cut? Thank you for your help!

I bought my wagon a week ago from Alberta and it failed the BC out of province inspection because of the DRLs.

Unfortunately the mechanic gave up on installing the module because he couldn't get it to work with the HIDs. Glad I found this thread, will be doing it soon to hopefully pass inspection.
