2002 Subaru Legacy Touring Wagon GTB E-Tune Limited 2

For the last few months I been on a hunt for a Subaru Legacy Touring Wagon GTB E-Tune. I finally found the one I want that I was able to get a few weeks ago. 2002 Subaru Legacy Touring Wagon GTB E-Tune Limited 2. I was more looking at 1998-2000 models but since there weren’t a lot in auction or not in good condition I decided I to go with this one which is the best decision I ever made. As a first jdm owner I’m really excited.

This one is a GTB Limited 2, Grade 4 Interior and exterior B with 81,000 kms, automatic wanted a manual but for the price couldn’t turn it down, jdmconnections I decided to go with, very helpful, answers all my questions and they suggested this vehicle. The arrive day is on November 11, and will be shipping to Alberta at jdmconnections location and be staying there once I figure where I’ll be headed after completing Canadian Armed Forces recruit school at the end of November.

Congrats I used to have one of these and they are great vehicles. I still think the fit and finish is one of the best I've seen, even compared to my BP5 Legacy Spec B!
How are you liking it so far?

Ever Since I pick her up in February, I got conformable driving it after the first 5 mins, no problems with her so far, it's been really fun especially in the snow, very clean car and fun to work on the small things as well. In the beginning May I decided I wanted to get back into driving stick after 2.5 years and wanted a 5-speed this time after driving the white one with a automatic for a while now and found a another Subaru BH5 with a 5-speed in auction for a good deal.

I will be making another post about the new vehicle hopefully as of today

I am curious since you have a 2018 Mazda 3 which do you like better and how do you compare it to our old JDMs?

I like both actually, my Mazda back in Ontario is my daily driver, haven't drove it since January since I'm in the military now and been located in Alberta since then, what I've noticed is Insurance, since I got my proof of residence on base and got a Alberta licence and insure the Subaru, it's a lot cheaper and easier to get insurance then it is in Ontario unfortunately if your 25 or over, but if insurance for rhd in ontario wasn't hard to get I would have bought a rhd car back in 2018 instead of the Mazda, I did get one quote back in July of last year from a high risk insurance when I was 24 and I was quoted 292 a month full coverage if I bring over in my Mazda as well, but I shouldn't have a problem since I'm 25 now I just have to look around when I know I will be staying in Ontario after my training unless other wise.

comparisons, interior is closely the same as my Subaru but the Mazda bit more modern, that's about it, made in Japan, it's good for a daily driver, but for my Subaru it's more of a fun car to me, and a road trip vehicle I do plan on keeping the new Subaru for a long time unless I find a nicer Subaru that will be legal in the coming years.

Where I lived in Ontario, I have seen alot of rhd vehicles in my city especially where I used to work before joining the military which is cool to see, so it's not impossible but you would really need to look in order to find insurance.
